The Heavenly Demon, surprisingly, isn't completely immune to Mu-Won's earnest (and slightly desperate) attempts at instruction. He might scoff and complain, but he does start to pay attention. Maybe there's hope for this teacher-student relationship after all.

There's a particularly touching scene (well, as touching as it can get with a demon involved) where Mu-Won explains the importance of foundation and discipline in martial arts. He emphasizes that even the strongest warriors need to master the basics. It's a really good point, and even the Heavenly Demon seems to consider it, even if he won't admit it out loud.

We also get a glimpse into the Heavenly Demon's past. It's not a full-blown sob story, but it hints at the trauma and hardships that shaped him into the ruthless figure he is today. It's a nice touch that adds depth to his character. Suddenly, he's not just a one-dimensional villain; he's a complex individual with his own motivations and vulnerabilities.

The Cliffhanger (Because of Course There Is!)

Of course, no good chapter is complete without a cliffhanger! At the end of Chapter 2, a mysterious figure appears, seemingly drawn to the Heavenly Demon's presence. We don't know who they are or what they want, but they definitely spell trouble for Mu-Won and his demonic student. Prepare for some serious martial arts showdowns in the chapters to come!
