Beyond the practical help, there's also the undeniable pride. Seeing him excel in everything he does makes me feel like a proud mama bear (even though I’m his older sister). I get to brag about him to my friends and family, soaking in the reflected glory like a sunflower basking in the sun. And let's be honest, it's a pretty good feeling.

He’s also a good reminder that everyone has their own strengths. Maybe I can’t solve complex differential equations in my sleep, but I can bake a mean chocolate cake and I can definitely parallel park better than he can (although, admittedly, he doesn’t drive yet).
