My Master Disconnected Yet Again Novelfull

Okay, so you know how I'm obsessed with this one particular novel on Novelfull? The one with the brooding, overpowered protagonist and the plot twists that could give you whiplash? Yeah, that one. Well, guess what happened. Again.

My Master. Disconnected. Yet. Again. Seriously? Is this my life now? Living on the edge, constantly fearing the dreaded "chapter unavailable" message? The suspense is killing me! (And probably adding years to my grey hairs, which I don't even have yet, thank you very much.)

I mean, come on, Novelfull! We need to talk. Is it my internet? Is it your server? Is it some cosmic force trying to keep me from knowing the ultimate fate of our beloved protagonist? I'm starting to think it's the last one. Maybe I'm not meant to know. Maybe ignorance is bliss in this case.

But who am I kidding? I'm way too invested. I need to know if he gets the girl! I need to know if he defeats the evil overlord! I need to know if his ridiculously complicated family history finally gets resolved! Is that too much to ask?

The worst part is the anticipation, right? You're all comfy, maybe with a cup of tea (or wine, let's be honest), ready to dive back into the story...and BAM! Disconnected. It's like someone snatched the rug right out from under you. Cruel and unusual punishment, I say!

And then the frantic refreshing begins. Refresh, refresh, refresh. Is it back? Is it back? Nope. Still disconnected. You start questioning your life choices. "Why am I so addicted to this thing?" you ask yourself. And then you remember...because it's awesome! Even when it's frustratingly unavailable.

I've tried everything, you know? Clearing my cache, restarting my router, sacrificing a metaphorical goat to the internet gods... Nothing seems to work consistently. It's like Novelfull is playing a game of cat and mouse with my emotions. A very stressful game, might I add.

I even considered switching to a different website. Traitorous, I know. But desperation does funny things to a person. But let's be real, no other site has quite the same selection of ridiculously addictive stories. They just don't. Novelfull has me hooked, line and sinker.

So, here I am. Waiting. Refreshing. Probably muttering under my breath about unreliable internet connections and the emotional rollercoaster that is online reading. And you know what? I'll probably keep doing it. Because despite the occasional (okay, frequent) disconnect, I'm a sucker for a good story. And "My Master" is definitely a good story.

Maybe I should start taking screenshots of each chapter, just in case. That way, when the inevitable disconnection happens, I can at least stare longingly at a picture of the words I so desperately want to read. Okay, maybe that's a little extreme. But you understand, right? The struggle is real!

Seriously, though, anyone else have this problem? Is there some secret Novelfull hack I don't know about? Or are we all just doomed to live in fear of the dreaded disconnection message? Let me know in the comments! Misery loves company, after all. And maybe, just maybe, we can band together and demand Novelfull fixes their servers! Power to the disconnected readers!
