My Yandere Sister Wants Me To Bully Her

Okay, so, you know how everyone has that one weird family member? Yeah, well, mine's not just weird, she's...let's just say uniquely challenging. And by challenging, I mean she's got this whole...thing. A Yandere thing. But it’s a Yandere thing with a bizarre twist. Instead of wanting to lock me in a basement and force-feed me affection (thank goodness!), she… wants me to bully her.

I know, right? You're picturing me blinking repeatedly, just like my therapist does every time I bring this up. Trust me, I've had the same reaction. The first time she confessed (and yes, it was a confession, complete with tears and dramatic lighting she probably orchestrated herself), I choked on my coffee. It was instant coffee too, which made the experience doubly traumatic.

It goes something like this: I'll be minding my own business, maybe trying to assemble IKEA furniture (a task already designed to break a person), and suddenly she'll appear. "Oh, (my name)!" she'll coo, her eyes sparkling in that unnervingly intense way only Yanderes can pull off. "Tell me how useless I am! Tell me how I’m a stain on the family name!"

My usual response is to offer her a biscuit and slowly back away. But she's persistent. Think a chihuahua with the tenacity of a honey badger.

The Origins of This...Affliction

Now, you're probably wondering why. Me too! Honestly, I suspect it involves a childhood incident, a lost hamster, and maybe a questionable anime addiction. But the official story is that she believes I'm "too perfect" (a blatant lie, I assure you, just ask my dating history), and that she needs me to "bring her down to my level." Apparently, the only way to do that is through a healthy dose of verbal abuse.

Apparently, some people are into that. Fun fact: Did you know that studies have shown that a small percentage of people actually find insults sexually arousing? It's called algolagnia, and I sincerely hope my sister isn't one of them. For the sake of my sanity.

She eats it up (figuratively, and sometimes literally, depending on my questionable cooking "skills"). "Yes! Yes! Tell me more!" she’ll practically scream, practically vibrating with… glee? Ugh. It's disturbing, to say the least.

The Hilarious (and Terrifying) Consequences

The worst part? She's started keeping a notebook. I found it the other day. It's filled with my "best" insults, meticulously transcribed and categorized. There's a section for "Physical Appearance," "Intellect," and, disturbingly, "General Worthlessness." I’m apparently a critic in her mind.

My friends think it's hilarious. They constantly ask me for new insults to throw her way. Like I'm some sort of insult vending machine. Which, I guess, I kind of am now? Thanks, sis!

One time, I accidentally called her a "dingleberry" (don't ask), and she actually swooned. Swooned! Like some Victorian damsel being proposed to by a handsome rogue. I swear, if she starts wearing a corset and carrying a smelling salts, I'm moving to Antarctica.

Honestly, it's exhausting. I just want to watch Netflix and eat pizza in peace, but instead, I'm constantly trying to come up with new and creative ways to tell my sister she's terrible without actually making her cry. It's like some bizarre improv comedy show, except the stakes are my mental health.

So, what am I supposed to do? I’ve tried everything. I've tried ignoring her. I've tried complimenting her (which just makes her sad, apparently). I've even tried reverse psychology, telling her how amazing and perfect she is, hoping she'll get so disgusted she'll abandon her bizarre quest. Nothing works.

I think the only solution is to embrace the absurdity. To become the ultimate insult comic, specifically tailored to my sister's unique…tastes. Maybe I can even turn it into a stand-up routine. "So, I have this sister…"
