Well, apparently, in my past life (or previous save file, if you prefer video game terms), I was obsessed with a wiki dedicated to the Sword Clan. Not just any clan, mind you, but the Sword Clan, known for their ridiculously complicated sword techniques and family drama that made the Kardashians look like the Waltons.

The Glitch in the Matrix

So, imagine my surprise when I woke up one day, not in my comfy apartment surrounded by half-eaten takeout and questionable anime figurines, but in a ridiculously ornate room, smelling faintly of incense and…metal? Turns out, I was now Jin, the black sheep, the screw-up, the guy who couldn't swing a sword straight if his life depended on it. Which, in this world, it often did.

There's a learning curve.
