That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Chapter 90

Okay, so you guys know I'm obsessed with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, right? Like, borderline unhealthy obsession. Well, Chapter 90 dropped, and OMG, we need to talk about it. Grab your coffee (or tea, I don't judge!), because this is gonna be a ride.
First off, can we just appreciate how far Rimuru's come? Seriously! Remember when he was just a little blob swallowing everything in sight? Now he's practically running a whole nation! Talk about a glow-up.
This chapter, the focus is heavily on the aftermath of, well, everything. You know, the whole Clayman fiasco, the resurrection of the Tempest citizens… yeah, minor details, right? But the mood is definitely shifting, isn't it?
Must Read
We see Rimuru navigating the political landscape, which, let's be honest, is a minefield. He’s trying to be all diplomatic and stuff, but you can tell he's just itching to unleash some serious slime-powered justice on anyone who messes with his people. I mean, who wouldn't be?
And then there's the whole Walpurgis aftermath. The other demon lords are starting to really see Rimuru as a serious player. It's like, "Oh, hey, remember that cute little slime? Yeah, he's kind of a big deal now." Understatement of the century, if you ask me.

Important point: We get more insight into the other Demon Lords' personalities. Which is always a win. You start to see the little cracks in their facades. Are they all truly evil? Or are there hidden depths we haven’t explored yet? Makes you think, doesn’t it?
Honestly, what I’m really enjoying is seeing the growth in the other characters too. The development of the characters surrounding Rimuru is just as compelling as Rimuru himself. It’s not just the “Rimuru show”, everyone is getting some spotlight!

And Benimaru? Don't even get me started. He's becoming such a badass! The loyalty and devotion he shows to Rimuru is just… chef's kiss. He’s evolving from just a strong fighter to a real leader. What a guy.
What about Diablo? He's always lurking in the shadows, being all mysterious and powerful. We get a few hints here and there about his plans and motivations. He’s just so fascinating, even if he's a little… intense. Who really knows what he’s thinking?
One of my favorite parts of the chapter (and the entire series, really) is the emphasis on community. Tempest isn’t just a nation; it’s a family. Everyone is looking out for each other, and they all believe in Rimuru's vision. It's kind of heartwarming, isn't it? In a world of constant battles and political intrigue, it's nice to see a little bit of hope and unity.

But let's not forget the looming threats, are they ever really gone? There's always something brewing in the background. What’s that ominous foreshadowing about a certain someone gathering power? I'm both excited and terrified to find out. Fuse-sensei knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats, doesn’t he?
Also, I’m still holding out hope for more cute moments with Milim. She's such a wildcard! Every time she shows up, you know something chaotic is about to happen. We need more Milim shenanigans, stat!

Overall, Chapter 90 is a solid setup for what's to come. It lays the groundwork for future conflicts and explores the complex relationships between the characters. Plus, it's always good to see Rimuru kicking butt and taking names. 5 out of 5 stars from me! (Would give it 6 if I could!)
But seriously, what did you guys think of the chapter? Am I missing anything? Let me know your theories and predictions in the comments! Let's geek out together!
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a Slime manga to re-read. Because, you know, research. Wink
