Chapter 2 dives deeper into our favorite demon lord, Baal, trying to navigate the chaotic world of...parenting? Yeah, you heard me right. He’s a demon lord, practically overflowing with dark power, and he’s struggling with diaper changes. The irony is just… chef’s kiss.
Baal's Parenting 101: Epic Fails and Adorable Giggles
So, remember how in Chapter 1, Baal basically adopted (kidnapped? Semantics!) a human baby? Well, now the real fun begins! He's clearly out of his depth. Like, hilariously, spectacularly out of his depth. I mean, this guy commands legions of demons, but can't figure out how to sterilize a bottle? What is even happening?

We get to see Baal attempt the simple task of feeding the baby, and let’s just say things don't go according to plan. Let's just say there's milk EVERYWHERE. I snorted my coffee, I'm not even kidding. Poor Baal. He looks so confused. Like, "How can something so small create so much mess?!"
And the faces! Oh my gosh, the faces! The artist is doing an amazing job of portraying Baal's internal struggle between wanting to be a terrifying demon lord and being utterly charmed by this tiny human. It’s killing me! Is this the birth of a softie Baal arc? I’m here for it!
But the best part? The baby giggles! Seriously, every time that little tyke laughs, my heart melts a little. Even Baal, grumpy demon lord extraordinaire, can't help but crack a tiny smile. It's like a forbidden smile of parental affection. Is this manga making me soft? Possibly.
More Demons, More Problems?
Of course, things aren't all sunshine and baby burps. We get hints of potential problems brewing. Remember those other demons? Yeah, they're not exactly thrilled about Baal playing house. They're all like, "Hey, shouldn't you be conquering worlds or something?" Classic demon peer pressure, am I right?
There’s definitely some tension simmering. It's clear that some of Baal's subordinates are questioning his leadership. Are they going to stage a coup? Will they try to harm the baby?! Don't even think about it, demons! I will fight you!
The ending leaves us with a cliffhanger that’s both adorable and slightly ominous. Baal is holding the baby, looking almost… protective. But there’s a storm brewing (literally and figuratively). Is he ready to face the consequences of his… unique parenting choice? Does he even know what's coming? It's anyone's guess!
Final Thoughts (and Wild Speculation!)
Overall, Chapter 2 is a fantastic continuation of The Baby Raising A Devil. It's hilarious, heartwarming, and just a little bit suspenseful. I’m already dying to know what happens next! Will Baal learn how to change a diaper without summoning a minor earthquake? Will he manage to keep his demon subjects in line? And most importantly, will the baby learn to say "Dad" before he accidentally unleashes hell on earth? These are the important questions!
