But instead of plotting their downfall, our Melissa is already sizing them up, trying to figure out how to manipulate the game's story. She's not trying to win their hearts (yet, anyway – who knows what'll happen later?!), she's trying to survive and maybe, just maybe, become a decent human being in the process. Good luck with that, girl! You got your work cut out for you.

The art is pretty gorgeous, too, by the way. Everyone is ridiculously attractive, which, let's be honest, is half the reason we read these things, right? Don't judge me! Melissa's hair alone is worth the price of admission. It's like a golden waterfall of evil intent… that she's now trying to redirect towards, like, volunteer work or something. Maybe.

Predictions and Obsessions

So, Chapter 1 leaves us wanting more. What's Melissa's grand plan? How will she deal with her family's expectations? Will she accidentally fall in love with one of the targets despite her best efforts? (I'm betting on the mage. Always bet on the mage!)

Honestly, I'm already obsessed. The concept is fresh, the art is beautiful, and Melissa's internal monologue is hilarious. I can't wait to see how she rewrites her destiny. And you know I'll be here, ready to spill all the tea as I read it.
