Oh. My. Goodness. Did You SEE That Seven Deadly Sins Episode?!
Okay, people, let’s talk. Episode 23 of Season 5 (technically Dragon's Judgement, but who’s counting at this point?!) was a wild ride. I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor!
Meliodas Goes Beast Mode (Again!)
Our boy Meliodas, as always, is the center of it all. He’s battling his inner demons, literally! It’s like watching a really intense family therapy session… except with giant swords and explosions.
Remember when you had to decide between pizza or tacos? It’s kinda like that, but instead of food, it’s saving the world versus… well, something a lot less appetizing. His struggle is something we can all relate to when making hard choice.
The animation during his transformation? *chef's kiss*! I literally had to pause it just to admire the sheer awesomeness. Who else has paused that part and re-watched multiple times?
Elizabeth's Patience is Saintly
Seriously, Elizabeth deserves a medal. Or maybe a spa day. Perhaps a lifetime supply of ice cream?
The amount of stress she endures is just unbelievable. I mean, her man is constantly teetering on the edge of destruction, and she’s just standing there, radiating hope and healing vibes.
She’s the ultimate supportive girlfriend. If my patience was even half as good as hers, I could probably assemble IKEA furniture without crying.
Ban's Bromance is Top-Tier
Okay, let's be real: The true love story of Seven Deadly Sins is the bromance between Ban and Meliodas. No, I'm not shipping them, but their camaraderie makes me emotional.
Ban is always there, ready to throw down, quip a snarky comment, and generally be the best friend anyone could ask for. Plus, he's immortal, which is a definite bonus in a world constantly threatened by annihilation.
Their bond is so strong. He's like the friend who will always pick you up at 3 AM no matter how crazy you are.
Zeldris... Oh, Zeldris!
Zeldris continues to be the most complicated character ever. Good? Bad? Confused? All of the above!
He's got the whole brooding, conflicted anti-hero thing down to an art form. It’s like watching a puppy who really wants to be a grumpy cat.
I'm genuinely invested in his character development and hope he gets the happy ending he deserves. Or at least a good therapist.
Estarossa Still Exists (Sadly)
Okay, I’m just going to say it: Estarossa is annoying. He pops up when you least expect it and makes you want to pull your hair out.
He’s like that one mosquito that keeps buzzing around your ear when you're trying to sleep. Unnecessary and frustrating.
Can he just... go away already? Pretty please?
That Cliffhanger?!
And then there's THAT ending! How dare they leave us hanging like that?! I'm going crazy waiting for the next episode!
It’s like starting a really good book and then realizing the last chapter is missing. Cruel and unusual punishment, I say!
"I need answers! And I need them now!"That's my reaction at the end of the episode, I can't wait to watch the next episode!
Final Thoughts
Overall, episode 23 was a roller coaster of emotions. Action, suspense, feels – it had it all. Seven Deadly Sins never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat.
