Okay, Let's Talk "A Million Little Things" - Season 2, Episode 19
Remember that episode? The one where everything felt…extra? I mean, A Million Little Things always brings the drama. But episode 19, "timing," felt like they cranked the dial all the way up to eleven.
Everyone was dealing with *something*. Secrets were spilling. Relationships were crumbling. Tears were definitely flowing. Did anyone actually smile in that whole hour?
Maggie and Gary: Can We Just Move On?
Let's be honest, Maggie and Gary's on-again, off-again dance got a little tiring. I know, I know, they have history. They're soulmates… supposedly. But honestly, I was kind of rooting for Maggie to just move to Oxford and find a cute British professor.
Was I the only one who thought that Gary seemed a little *too* insistent? Like, maybe give her some space, dude! Let the girl breathe!
And speaking of Gary, his whole storyline with Darcy? Complicated, to say the least. He really is trying to be a better man, isn't he?
Eddie's Mess: A Never-Ending Story
Ah, Eddie. Always stirring the pot. Remember his past coming back to haunt him? It always does! Honestly, I lost track of how many secrets he was keeping.
The guilt! The lies! The awkward conversations! Can this man just get a break? Okay, probably not, since he kind of brought it on himself.
I felt bad for Katherine. She's trying *so hard*. She deserves a gold medal for putting up with everything.
Rome and Regina: The Adoption Rollercoaster
Rome and Regina were always the most stable couple, right? Wrong! The adoption storyline really put them through the wringer. Every time they seemed to catch a break, BAM! Another obstacle.
It's heartbreaking to watch them navigate those challenges. Regina wanting a family so badly. Rome struggling with his own demons. So much emotion!
Adoption is never easy, of course, but they really went for the maximum dramatic impact here, didn't they?
Delilah: Queen of Complicated
Delilah. Oh, Delilah. Still dealing with the fallout of Jon's death and her secrets. It's understandable, but I also feel like she often creates her own problems. Just a little bit.
Raising three kids while juggling grief and a complicated love life? No one said it would be easy, but sometimes it felt like she was actively making it harder on herself.
Maybe I'm being too harsh. Grief is a beast. But still, someone get this woman a therapist... and maybe a vacation.
Unpopular Opinion Time: Did This Episode Try Too Hard?
Okay, here it is. My unpopular opinion: I think this episode felt a little… forced. Like they were trying to cram *every single plot point* into one hour. Too much drama can become exhausting.
Sometimes, a little subtlety is nice. A little breathing room. But hey, that's just me!
Don't get me wrong, I still love A Million Little Things. I'm just saying, maybe they could have spread some of this drama out a little more. What do you think? Was I wrong?
