Alex was jealous of Spencer's life, of her family, her friends, everything. So naturally, the most logical thing to do was to take over her life by torturing all her friends, of course!
She was even imitating Spencer's mannerisms. Creepy and captivating at the same time.
Remember that game of "Endgame"? Where the Liars had to complete increasingly dangerous tasks? That was all Alex, orchestrated to force Spencer to give up her perfect life.
The Legacy of "A"
