Where's My Freakin' *Long Halloween Part Three*?
Okay, okay, deep breaths everyone. We all loved *Batman: The Long Halloween* Parts One and Two, right? Awesome animation, killer story, and Batman being, well, Batman. But seriously, where's Part Three?
It's been... a while. And my inner Calendar Man is starting to get twitchy. I need a holiday-themed mystery, stat!
Is It Just Me, Or...?
Am I the only one feeling this impatient? I mean, we got the cliffhanger. The suspense! The burning desire to know whodunit (even though comic readers probably already know, shhh!).
Seriously, Hollywood, are you just messing with us now? Don't toy with our bat-emotions!
Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here it comes. Brace yourselves. I think the second part was better. Gasp! I said it.
The ending twist? Chef's kiss. The animation? Improved. The general feeling of dread and impending doom? Perfectly executed. Don't @ me.
Look, I love Part One. It set the stage. It introduced the characters. It gave us *that* Carmine Falcone scene. But Part Two just cranked everything up to eleven. The tension was palpable.
But Back to the Real Question...
Forget about ranking the existing movies. The elephant in the room (or should I say, the Bat in the Cave) is: Where's Part Three?
Are we ever going to get it? Is it stuck in development hell? Did *Two-Face* steal the master tapes?
I'm starting to think this whole thing is just a elaborate scheme by Warner Bros. Animation to drive us all crazy. And you know what? It's working!
My Wild Guesses (Because Why Not?)
So, what's the holdup? Here are my completely unfounded, utterly ridiculous theories.
Theory #1: They're waiting for the perfect holiday tie-in. Maybe a Christmas release? A Valentine's Day premiere? The possibilities are endless!
Theory #2: The voice actors are all busy. Maybe Jensen Ackles (Batman himself!) is filming another season of *Supernatural*. He’s probably fighting demons. Priorities, people!
Theory #3: They realized they accidentally made it *too* good. Now they're scrambling to find a way to top it. Which, let's be honest, is a pretty good problem to have.
A Plea to the Bat-Gods
Dear DC, dear Warner Bros., dear anyone who has any say in this matter: Please, please, PLEASE give us *The Long Halloween Part Three*.
We promise to be good. We'll buy all the merchandise. We'll even pretend to like *Batman & Robin* (okay, maybe not that). Just give us the conclusion we deserve!
I'm starting to think Calendar Man is going to go on a real-life crime spree if this doesn't get released soon.
So, yeah. That's my unpopular opinion and my increasingly desperate plea. Anyone else feeling the same? Let me know in the comments. And if you have any insider information about *The Long Halloween Part Three*, please share. You'll be doing a great service to bat-fans everywhere.
