Okay, let's talk My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. It's a mouthful, right? But more importantly, it's a movie that's got me feeling some type of way.

Brace yourselves, MHA fans. What I'm about to say might sting a little. Ready?

I think this movie is... wait for it... kind of overrated.

Hold on, don't grab your pitchforks yet!

I'm not saying it's bad. It's got action! It's got explosions! It's got our favorite Class 1-A heroes zipping around the world.

What more could you want, right? A decent story, maybe?

Look, the plot about Humarize and their quirk-destroying ideology? Snoozeville! It felt like a rehash of themes we've seen before.

World domination? Quirks are bad? Been there, punched that.

The Good Stuff (Because There Is Some!)

Okay, okay, I'm being too harsh. The animation? Gorgeous! Bones always delivers the visual goods.

Seeing Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto team up in a global adventure was definitely cool. They're the power trio we didn't know we needed fighting international terrorists.

And let's be honest, the fight scenes were top-notch. Especially that one where Deku is leaping between buildings, it was amazing.

There's something satisfying about seeing them evolve as heroes, even if the overall story felt a little...meh.

Rody Soul: Friend or Just...There?

Let's address the elephant in the room: Rody Soul. Was he a compelling character? Or just a plot device to make Deku seem more empathetic?

I'm leaning towards the latter. Sorry, Rody fans! He just felt a little...flat.

I wanted to care more about his backstory and his motivations, but it felt rushed. Like they crammed his development into the last 20 minutes.

"He had potential! He was just underdeveloped!"

The Real Star: Action, Action, Action!

Honestly, the film's strength lies in its non-stop action. There's barely a moment to breathe before another explosion rocks the screen.

If you went in expecting a deep, thought-provoking story, you were probably disappointed. If you went in wanting superhero fights? You probably had a blast!

I secretly think that even the creators knew that, which is why they gave us such awesome fight animation.
