I think it's...underrated. Yep, I said it.

Look, I know we all have our favorite episodes. The Halloween Heists are legendary. The Pontiac Bandit episodes? Iconic.

But "Casecation" holds a special place in my heart. It's just so...pleasant.

Think about it. We get Holt being hilariously petty over cruise activities. Who doesn't love a competitive Holt?

His desperate attempts to win everything? Priceless! Seriously, the way he tries to outsmart everyone is just pure comedic genius.

Then there's Jake and Amy. Their "casecation" plan is adorable. Even though it goes completely sideways, of course.

Because when does anything ever go according to plan for those two? Never, that's when! And that's why we love them.

Plus, the mystery they're trying to solve is actually interesting. It's not the most groundbreaking case, sure.

But it's a fun little distraction from the usual precinct drama. A nice change of pace, if you will.

Maybe it's the escapism. A cruise! Sunshine! No paperwork!

Who wouldn't want to be on a cruise with the Nine-Nine crew? (Well, maybe not if Holt's in competitive mode. That might be a bit much.)

Or maybe it's just the overall lightheartedness of the episode. No huge emotional arcs, no dramatic cliffhangers.

Just pure, unadulterated Brooklyn Nine-Nine silliness. Sometimes, that's exactly what you need.

And let's not forget about the supporting characters! Terry being Terry. Rosa being Rosa.

Even Boyle gets some funny moments, although let's be honest, Boyle always has funny moments. It's just his thing.

The whole cast just gels so well in this episode. You can tell they're having fun, and that energy is contagious.
