Okay, let's be real. Has anyone else noticed something…missing? Something kinda big? I'm talking about the App Store on certain Apple TVs.

Don't get me wrong. I love my Apple TV. It's like a tiny, shiny rectangle of entertainment magic. But sometimes, magic feels…limited.

I went to download a new game. A fun little puzzle thing. You know the type. But then… nothing. No App Store icon to be found! I was baffled.

Here's where things get controversial. Maybe…just maybe… I don't really miss it? Hear me out!

I know, I know. Sacrilege! But think about it. How many Apple TV apps do we actually use? Netflix? Hulu? Maybe a yoga app for that one time we felt motivated?

The rest? They sit there. Gathering digital dust. Like forgotten toys in the attic of our Apple TV.

I also have a tendency to download a ton of apps and forget about them later. Then I'm constantly scrolling through useless icons. It’s a first-world problem, I admit.

The Beauty of Simplicity (Maybe?)

Without the temptation of the App Store, my Apple TV becomes…focused. Streamlined. A lean, mean, entertainment machine. Or at least, a slightly less cluttered one.

It's like decluttering your closet. Except instead of getting rid of old clothes, you're getting rid of the potential to download more apps you won't use.

Of course, this opinion changes drastically the moment a really cool app comes out. Then, I’m back to desperately searching for that elusive App Store icon.
