Okay, here's the real hot take: I wouldn't want a direct continuation. I'd want something… different. More character focused.
Less giant bug battles. More exploring the relationships between the characters. I know, I know. Blasphemy!
But hear me out! The best parts of Chrome Shelled Regios were always the characters. Their struggles, their weirdness, their questionable fashion choices.
I want to see Layfon deal with his past trauma. I want to see Nina grow as a leader. I want to see Felli stop being so cryptic (okay, maybe not).
Maybe even explore the side characters. Give them some spotlight! We've got a whole cast of colorful personalities.
