Dub's mornings start… well, whenever he feels like it. After all, what's the rush when you've got all the time in the world?

He’s not a fan of alarms, though he's tried everything from cuckoo clocks to summoning a banshee for a wake-up wail (that didn't go down well with the neighbors).
Usually, sunshine streaming through the enchanted stained-glass windows of his (several) castles does the trick.
Breakfast of Champions (and Everyone Else)
Forget your typical granola and yogurt. Dub’s breakfast is a global buffet. One day it’s croissants from Paris, the next it’s sushi flown in from Tokyo.
He says variety keeps him young… or, you know, younger-looking.
Occasionally, he’ll attempt to cook himself. It's usually followed by a small fire and a very apologetic fire elemental putting it out.
Mid-Day Mayhem: Boredom Busters for the Ageless
Immortality can get a little… dull. Dub combats this with a rotating roster of hobbies. Recently, he's taken up competitive bird watching.
He also mentors young mages, though he frequently mixes up spells, leading to amusing (and occasionally explosive) results.
Other times, he deals with minor kingdom squabbles, like the great gnome-elf flower bed dispute of '23.
Afternoon Adventures: Centuries of Friends (and Foes)
Dub has friends scattered across the globe – and across eras. A quick portal hop might lead to tea with a Roman philosopher or a jam session with a Viking bard.
Of course, with immortality comes a few long-standing rivalries. He and The Shadow Sorcerer have been locked in a passive-aggressive feud for centuries, mostly involving pranks and strongly worded letters.
Their chess games are legendary, lasting weeks and involving enchanted pieces that occasionally try to kill each other.
Evening Entertainment: Immortal Movie Nights
Even kings binge-watch. Dub’s a big fan of documentaries (history is his jam, obviously) and surprisingly, rom-coms.
He’s also got a soft spot for cheesy fantasy flicks, though he frequently yells at the screen about historical inaccuracies.
His pet griffin, Fluffy, enjoys joining him, though she tends to fall asleep halfway through, emitting adorable little griffin snores.
Bedtime Rituals: Counting Sheep (for a Really Long Time)
Getting ready for bed is pretty standard. A warm bath (infused with calming herbs gathered by forest sprites), a good book (usually something incredibly long and dense), and a cup of chamomile tea.
Does he dream? Maybe. He says he remembers snippets of forgotten civilizations and conversations with ancient gods.
And then, it's lights out for King Dub, ready to do it all again tomorrow… and the next day… and the next day… for all eternity. But who’s counting?
Perhaps immortality isn’t all it's cracked up to be. Then again, who wouldn’t want a pet griffin?
