The Release Date Rollercoaster
Seriously, the release date for The Scarlet Bullet was a wild ride. It was originally slated for April 2020. That's, like, prehistoric times in movie release terms!
Then, you know, the world happened. So, it got pushed back. And then pushed back again.
It felt like Conan himself was investigating the case of the missing release date. And honestly, I was starting to suspect the Black Organization was involved.
My Unpopular Opinion (Prepare Yourselves!)
Okay, here it comes. My totally, possibly controversial take: I kind of enjoyed the anticipation. Don’t @ me!
Hear me out! The delays built up the hype. It was like a slow burn mystery. We got more trailers, more posters, more speculation.
The internet was buzzing! We were all detectives, piecing together clues about what the movie would be like. It was fun! Admit it.
Plus, all that waiting just made the movie even more satisfying when it finally arrived. Like a perfectly aged wine... or a really, really good bowl of ramen.
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment. But I think the delays, while frustrating, added to the overall experience of The Scarlet Bullet.
Of course, I'm not saying I wanted the delays. I just... appreciated the build-up. Is that so wrong?
Was it Worth the Wait?
So, after all that waiting, was The Scarlet Bullet good? In my humble (and probably biased) opinion: yes!
It had everything a Conan movie should have: Explosions? Check. Mind-bending mystery? Check. Awesome gadgets? Double check!
And let's not forget the Akai Family! They always bring the drama.
The characters were fantastic. Conan was as clever as ever. The animation was stunning. And the story? Well, it kept me guessing until the very end.
"But was it the best Conan movie ever?" you ask. That's a debate for another day!
But seriously, the wait was worth it just to see Conan on the big screen again. Even if it took a year (or two!) longer than expected.
The Moral of the Story?
What's the takeaway from all this? Maybe it's that good things are worth waiting for. Or maybe it's that the Black Organization is really good at delaying movie releases.
Whatever the reason, The Scarlet Bullet finally arrived. And we all survived the wait. (Barely.)
