Don't get me wrong, the original Japanese is fantastic. But the dub adds a certain chaotic energy. A beautiful trainwreck of comedic timing and exaggerated voice acting. It is what it is!
It’s like comparing pizza and sushi. Both are great, but serve different purposes. Sometimes you want a meticulously crafted culinary experience. Other times you just want cheesy goodness.
The Other Characters: Dub Delights
It's not just Senku. The entire cast gets the dub treatment. Taiju is even MORE enthusiastic (somehow). Yuzuriha is even sweeter. Tsukasa... okay, Tsukasa is pretty intense in any language.
Seriously though, the voice actors really commit. They give it their all, even when the lines are…questionable. You gotta respect that level of dedication to the art of dubbing. To the science of dubbing, maybe?
