Attack on Titan Season 4, Episode 7: Am I the ONLY One Who...?
Okay, okay, hear me out. Everyone's obsessed with Eren being all brooding and mysterious. But did anyone else find themselves... zoning out a little during that strategy meeting? I mean, seriously.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good war council. But all those maps and diagrams? My brain started craving snacks about five minutes in.
The Pieck Finger Reveal: Genius or...?
And Pieck crawling on all fours? Was that a genuinely brilliant tactical move? Or just... kinda weird? I'm leaning towards weird, but hey, that's just me.
I get she's the Cart Titan, but the theatrics felt a tad much. Maybe she was just showing off?
Plus, Reiner! Always the emotional mess. Dude, get it together!
Falco: The Real MVP?
Seriously though, can we talk about Falco for a second? He's the only one who seems to have any sense of decency left. I'm rooting for this kid, even if it’s a lost cause.
He's trying to protect Gabi, even when she's being... well, Gabi. Someone give this boy a medal.
Gabi. Oh boy. Look, I know she's been brainwashed, but her unwavering dedication to hating the "devils" is getting old. Fast. Anyone else feel that way?
The "Let's Chat Politely Before We Kill Each Other" Vibe
The whole vibe of this episode felt strangely polite. Like everyone was saying, "Excuse me, would you mind terribly if I destroyed your entire civilization?"
Maybe it’s the Marleyan culture. Always gotta keep it civil, even when planning mass murder.
That dinner scene? So awkward. Like a forced family gathering where everyone secretly hates each other. I felt that in my soul.
Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here comes the controversial bit: I'm starting to think the Marleyans aren't *entirely* evil. Shocking, I know!
I mean, they're definitely not good guys, but the show's doing a decent job of humanizing them. Even the ones with the questionable fashion choices.
Isayama is making us question everything, and my brain hurts. Thanks, buddy!
Zeke: Still Playing 4D Chess
And Zeke? Still can't figure out what that guy is planning. Double agent? Triple agent? Is he even on anyone's side but his own?
He's the ultimate wild card. Just when you think you've got him figured out, he throws a curveball. I’m convinced he knows something we don’t.
I'm fully prepared for him to betray everyone at the last minute. And honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised.
Final Thoughts: Anyone Else a Little Bored?
Okay, I said it. Was anyone else a little bored by this episode? Maybe it's just the slower pacing after all the action of previous seasons. Or maybe I just miss the scouts.
Too much politics, not enough Titan-smashing. I need my fix of giant monsters! Come on!
I hope the next episode brings more mayhem. More Titans! More screaming! More characters making questionable decisions that will haunt them for the rest of their lives! You know, the usual Attack on Titan stuff. Please?
So, am I alone in feeling this way? Probably. But hey, a girl can dream of simpler times when the biggest problem was figuring out how to swing around with those crazy 3D Maneuver Gear thingamajigs.
