Look, I love the Fate series. I’ve sunk countless hours into the games and anime. But something about Spring Song felt...off. I'm just being honest here.

Maybe it was the hype. Maybe it was the fact that I was watching it on a less-than-legal streaming site. Probably that played a role.

I mean, the animation is gorgeous, I'll give it that. Ufotable really outdid themselves. Those fight scenes? Chef's kiss.

Sakura's Transformation: Too Much?
