And visually? Absolutely stunning. The animation is top-tier. No arguments there.

The Feels... Where Were They?

Heaven's Feel is supposed to be the dark and gritty one. The one that punches you right in the gut. The one with all the feels.

And it tries! It really, really does. Sakura is suffering! Shirou is conflicted! Everyone's dying!

But sometimes, it felt a bit… much? Like they were *trying* too hard to make me cry.

Too Many Fights, Not Enough Heart?

Look, I love a good fight scene. And Spring Song has some incredible ones. Saber Alter vs. Berserker? Epic!

But between the battles, the plot felt a bit rushed. Some character development felt… absent. Or just glossed over.

Maybe I'm just too jaded. Maybe I need to rewatch it. But that's my initial impression!

Sakura... I Wanted More!

Heaven's Feel is Sakura's story, right? But did she truly get the spotlight she deserved?

Sometimes she felt more like a plot device than a fully realized character. A damsel-in-distress-turned-monster. I wanted nuance!

I wanted to *understand* her pain, her motivations, her everything! I feel like some of the impact was lost by not giving her enough development.

Still Worth a Watch? Absolutely!

Don't get me wrong. Spring Song is still a visually spectacular movie. It's Fate! There's magic, action, and angsty teenagers.

If you're a Fate fan, you absolutely have to see it. If only for the sheer spectacle.

Just... maybe don't go in expecting the most emotionally devastating experience of your life. Lower your expectations slightly, and you might enjoy it more.
