Season 3 also gave us 10 episodes. Seems pretty consistent, right?

The Case For More Episodes
Think about it. More episodes mean more time with Mabel, Charles, and Oliver. More red herrings! More suspect interviews!
More opportunities for amazing guest stars! They could really flesh out the subplots.
We could delve deeper into the lives of the supporting characters. Honestly, who doesn't want more of Uma?
Imagine a season with 13 or even 15 episodes. We would have that much more of this amazing series. The writers could craft even more elaborate and intricate plots.
The Counter Argument (Because There Always Is One)
Of course, there's the risk of stretching the plot too thin. Nobody wants filler episodes.
Maybe 10 is the perfect number. It keeps things tight and engaging. Keeps us on our toes.
Plus, shorter seasons mean less time to wait between them. Which is, admittedly, a blessing.
But still… I yearn for more. My heart aches. Perhaps I’m just greedy.
