I think American Horror Story could benefit from shorter seasons.

Hear me out. Imagine a tightly woven, relentlessly terrifying eight-episode arc.

No filler. No meandering subplots. Just pure, concentrated horror.

Think of it! Every scene would matter. Every jump scare would land with maximum impact.

Don't get me wrong. I love sinking my teeth into a long, complex story.

But sometimes, I feel like the longer seasons of AHS spread themselves a little thin.

They introduce too many characters and never fully explore their stories. Or they introduce plots that go nowhere.

Is it just me? Does anyone else feel that way?

Ultimately, the number of episodes doesn't really matter. Does it?

What truly matters is the story. Is it engaging? Is it scary? Does it leave me wanting more (but in a good way)?

Whether it's ten episodes or thirteen, if Ryan Murphy and his team deliver a killer plot, I'm in.

Even if I have to hide behind a pillow for half of it.

As of right now, the exact episode count is still shrouded in mystery.

But that's part of the fun, right?
