Okay, let's talk My Hero Academia books. In 2021, how many were there *really*? It feels like a million, doesn't it?
The Manga Mania
First, the main manga series. By the end of 2021, we were already swimming in volumes. Think of all those epic battles with Shigaraki.
We had plenty! Like, at least 30 volumes, maybe more. It gets hard to keep track after a while.
Each volume is pure shonen goodness. It's hard to stop once you start.
Spin-Off Shenanigans
Then there's My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. This spin-off gives us a different perspective. No Deku here, just some underground heroes.
Vigilantes was chugging along nicely too. So, add those to your mental bookshelf. The total count? Up, up, and away!
I secretly liked Vigilantes better, don't tell anyone. It felt more grounded.
Novel Nonsense
Let's not forget the light novels! These are often forgotten, sadly. But they offer cool side stories.
These novels are usually about character backstories. More Bakugo explosions, basically. Who can complain?
I lost count of those novels. It's like trying to count grains of sand. But they count as books, right?
Beyond the Bookshelves
Of course, there were also art books. Full of colorful explosions and character designs. Pure eye candy!
Plus, there were guidebooks. Everything you needed to know about quirks. Perfect for the truly obsessed, like me.
These aren't exactly manga, but they add to the world. The MHA universe expanded rapidly.
The Unofficial Count (My Opinion)
So, how many MHA books were there in 2021? Officially? Probably a specific number you can Google.
But unofficially... an infinite amount! Okay, maybe not infinite. But close enough.
Here's my unpopular opinion. There were too many to keep up with! But I wouldn't have it any other way.
Why I Say "Too Many"
It's not that I disliked them. It was overwhelming! Where does one start?
The pressure to read them all was immense. Especially when your friends quiz you on obscure details.
I think there's such a thing as too much MHA content. Maybe I'm just getting old.
The True Value
But regardless of the number, the stories were great. My Hero Academia brought joy to so many people.
It's about the friendships, the struggles, the triumphs. And all the cool quirks, of course.
So, while I complain about the sheer volume, I'm also grateful. Thank you, Kohei Horikoshi!
"Go beyond! Plus Ultra!" - Every MHA Fan Ever
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some reading to catch up on. Probably another ten volumes released since I started writing this.
Happy reading, fellow heroes! Just try not to get lost in the MHA library.
