Below that, you’ll see a little toggle for Send Last Location. Turn that guy on, too. If your device is about to run out of battery, it'll send its last known location to Apple. A digital breadcrumb trail, if you will.
For AirTags, it’s even simpler! You just hold it near your iPhone, and bam! A magical connection happens.

Most of these have their own apps. Download the app, create an account, and follow the instructions. It’s usually pretty straightforward.
Look for phrases like "Activate Tracking," "Pair Device," or "Register This Gadget." They're all clues on your treasure hunt.
Once registered, the app will usually show you where your device *should* be. Hopefully, it's not actually on the moon.
