Okay, let's talk How to Get Away With a Murder Season 2 cast. I know, I know, it's been a while. But some things just NEED to be said. Prepare for some potentially controversial opinions.
The OG Crew
Annalise Keating (Viola Davis)
First, we HAVE to talk about Viola Davis. She IS Annalise. End of story. Is there even any competition?
I mean, seriously, who else could rock those power suits and deliver those killer monologues? It's pure magic.
The Keating 5 (plus Bonnie and Frank)
Let's be real, the Keating 5 were a hot mess. Each with their own baggage and secrets. But we loved them for it!
Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch)? Sweet, but always getting into trouble. And Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee)? He brought the sass. I admit I am biased toward him.
Michaela Pratt (Aja Naomi King) was ambitious and hilarious! Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza) was surprisingly deep. Then there was Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry), the lovable goofball.
Don't forget Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil) and Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber)! Twisted loyalty is how I describe them.
Season 2 Additions: Yay or Nay?
Eve Rothlow (Famke Janssen)
Okay, Eve Rothlow. Annalise's old flame. Famke Janssen is undeniably great.
But did we really NEED her? Maybe not. She added a layer of complexity, that's for sure.
Caleb and Catherine Hapstall (Kendrick Sampson and Amy Okuda)
Here is where the story takes a turn. I have to be honest, the Hapstall siblings, Caleb and Catherine (Kendrick Sampson and Amy Okuda), always felt a little…off.
The whole Hapstall case was honestly a bit convoluted. I kinda forgot it. Anyone else agree?
Philip Jessup (Jefferson White)
And then there was Philip Jessup (Jefferson White). Creepy. Very creepy. That's all I have to say about that.
Unpopular Opinions Alert!
Brace yourselves. I have some feelings about Season 2 that might ruffle some feathers.
Did the Hapstall storyline drag on a little too long? I think so! It felt like filler at times, didn't it?
And while I appreciate the new characters, did they REALLY add to the overall story? Jury's still out on that one.
The Real MVP
Let's be clear. The real MVP of How to Get Away With a Murder, in any season, is Viola Davis. It’s simply because of her talent!
Her performances were always captivating, raw, and unforgettable. Period.
Final Thoughts
Season 2 of How to Get Away With a Murder had its moments. Some good, some... questionable. But we still watched every episode, didn't we?
Because in the end, we were all hooked on the drama, the suspense, and the sheer brilliance of the cast. Especially the original.
So, what are YOUR thoughts on the Season 2 cast? Let me know! I'm ready for the debate!
