Okay, okay, hear me out. I love a good isekai. I do! But even I have my limits, and maybe, just maybe, this series is pushing them.

Season 1? Solid gold. Season 2? Still enjoyable, kept the formula going. But season 3? Is it just me, or is it feeling a bit…stale?

The Harem Hustle

Let's be honest, the harem aspect is kind of…the point. Diablo, our resident overpowered gamer, accidentally becomes a demon lord. Then he's surrounded by cute girls. Standard stuff.

But does anyone else feel like the "accidental pervert" trope is getting a little old? Like, we get it, he's socially awkward. Can we move on, please?

And the power creep! Diablo's already ridiculously strong. Where do we even go from here? Fighting interdimensional gods in Season 4? I’m getting dizzy!

Plot? What Plot?

Remember when there was an actual storyline? Something about defeating demon lords and saving the world? Yeah, me neither.

Now it feels more like a series of loosely connected…events. Events mostly involving Diablo accidentally groping someone or defeating a ridiculously weak monster.

It’s like the writers forgot they needed a plot to string it all together. I’m watching for the *plot*, not the… uh… other plots.

Here's where things get controversial. I kind of miss the early days of isekai.

Before every protagonist was an overpowered god who accidentally tripped into a fantasy world filled with adoring anime girls. Simpler times, you know?

Maybe How To NOT Summon A Demon Lord needs a serious shakeup. A new direction. Something to reignite the spark.

So, Should We Expect Season 3?

Honestly? Who knows. I mean, it's popular. Fan service sells. Right?

But maybe, just maybe, the creators should take a step back. Re-evaluate. Ask themselves: what made this series great in the first place?

Because if Season 3 is just more of the same, I might actually start summoning a demon lord myself… to complain about it.
