Ever feel like you're in a cinematic Groundhog Day? You swear you've seen that movie before, but you can't quite place it. Was it that rainy Tuesday last year? Or maybe during that epic pizza-fueled binge-watching session?
Fear not, fellow movie lover! Amazon, in its infinite, sometimes slightly confusing wisdom, keeps track of your viewing history.
Unearthing Your Amazon Movie Vault
First, head to the Amazon website. You know, the one that's probably already open in a tab right now. (Don't worry, we've all been there.)
Now, look for the “Account & Lists” option. It’s usually hanging out near the top right of the page. Hover your mouse over it, and a glorious dropdown menu shall appear!
From that dropdown menu, click on “Your Account.” This is the portal to all things you!
You’ll be greeted with a page full of account options. Scroll down (or just use the magic of “Find in Page” - Ctrl+F or Cmd+F - and type in "Video") until you see the "Digital Content and Devices" section.
Within this section, you are looking for "Video Purchases & Rentals". Click on that little gem!
Behold! Your Streaming Secrets Revealed!
This is where the magic happens! You'll see a list of all the movies and TV shows you've purchased or rented on Amazon. This isn't quite *everything* you've watched if you're a Prime Video subscriber.
If you're aiming to see ALL the shows you've watched on Prime Video, read on!
Delving Deeper: Prime Video Viewing History
To truly unlock your viewing history, navigate to the Prime Video website. You can find it by typing "primevideo.com" into your browser.
Sign in with your Amazon credentials, if you haven't already. Once you are in, look for the profile icon. It's often located in the upper right corner.
Click on your profile icon and select "Account & Settings." This is your Prime Video command center!
Next, look for the "Watch History" tab. It might be tucked away, so keep your eyes peeled! Clicking this tab will reveal... the treasures!
Prepare to be amazed! A comprehensive list of nearly everything you've watched on Prime Video should appear. It's like a digital diary of your movie nights!
It might not be *perfect*. If a movie was playing in the background while you were, say, meticulously organizing your sock drawer, it might not show up. (We all have our quirks!)
What If I Don't See Everything?
Sometimes, Amazon's memory isn't as sharp as we'd like. A rogue glitch, a forgotten viewing session on a different device – these things happen.
If you are missing some titles, try checking on different devices. If you were signed into a different profile on the same device, that would also change your viewing history!
Also, consider that if the movie was watched before you were signed in, or on a guest profile, it wouldn’t be recorded to your account.
If all else fails, maybe it's just time for a rewatch! After all, some movies are worth seeing again, and again, and… well, you get the idea.
So, there you have it! You now possess the power to unravel your Amazon movie-watching mysteries. Happy viewing, and may your streaming adventures be filled with popcorn and plot twists!
