Unpopular Opinion Alert: I Don't Miss "Not On Hulu" That Much

Yeah, I said it. Season 8, Episode 2, "The Gang Starts a Cult," which famously isn't available on Hulu. Honestly? It's fine.

Hear me out! I love IASIP. I've watched every episode, probably multiple times. But let’s be real, not every episode is a goldmine.

This one? It's good. It's got the classic Gang shenanigans. It just doesn't crack my top ten.

Sure, the premise is funny. The Gang starting a cult to exploit people is inherently hilarious.

But does it reach the heights of "The Nightman Cometh" or "Chardee MacDennis"? In my humble opinion, no way.

The Cult of… Meh?

Maybe my expectations were too high. The title promised absolute chaos. Did it deliver? Kinda.

The jokes felt a little… predictable? The Gang's usual selfishness and incompetence are there. But the spark? Missing, a little.

Let's be honest, Dee being delusional is a given. Dennis being narcissistic? Yawn.

Charlie's devotion to anyone who gives him attention? Standard. Mac's… well, Mac's gonna Mac.

The Great Hulu Conspiracy (Or Lack Thereof)

I know, I know. The reason it's "Not On Hulu" is a whole thing. Rights, royalties, whatever.

But maybe, just maybe, the universe is trying to tell us something. Maybe we should focus on the other amazing episodes.

There are hundreds of hours of IASIP brilliance out there. Let's not dwell on one missing piece.

Am I Alone in This?

Look, I'm prepared for the backlash. The internet loves to argue. Especially about beloved sitcoms.

I'm just saying, maybe this episode is overrated. Maybe the scarcity makes it seem better than it is.

Perhaps if it was readily available, we'd all be like, "Oh, yeah. That one. It was okay."

Is it a crime to think a single episode of a show you adore is just…decent?

This missing episode is just not that important. Let’s celebrate the gang and the ones that are available.
