I mean, they share a name! They’re practically siblings, right? Surely, buying one sibling a fancy new toy means the other sibling gets to play with it too. That’s how families work...right?

This will unlock all the sports content I crave. This will mean I can watch that game everyone's talking about. This will finally justify my cable-cutter status.

Don't even get me started on the ESPN app! It’s a labyrinth of menus, requiring a login for some things and not for others.

My Plea to the Streaming Gods

So here's my humble request. Dear ESPN (and all other streaming services). Please, for the love of sports, simplify things!

Just tell me what I need to pay to watch what I want to watch. No hidden fees, no confusing bundles, no required courses in Streaming Service Literacy.

I'm tired of feeling like I need a decoder ring to understand my own entertainment. Make it easy! Make it obvious!

Maybe, just maybe, one day I'll log into ESPN+ and be greeted with a glorious message: "Congratulations! You now have access to everything ESPN has to offer!"

Until then, I'll keep dreaming. And probably accidentally subscribing to the wrong streaming service. Again.
