Lucifer's Ending: Case Closed? Or...Is There More?
We all bawled our eyes out, right? Lucifer ended. Chloe and Lucifer, together forever. Amenadiel became God. It was a whole thing.
But... did it *really* end? I have thoughts. Controversial thoughts. Maybe even, dare I say, unpopular thoughts. Buckle up, Luci-fans!
The "Official" Story: 5 Seasons Plus a Bonus
Officially, Lucifer ran for five seasons. Then Netflix, bless their streaming hearts, gave us a sixth. They called it the "final" season. We're supposed to believe them.
End of story. Curtains. The Devil flew off to... therapy. I mean, Hell. Same difference, really.
But what if... (insert dramatic music here)?
My "Unpopular" Opinion: Season 6 Didn't Feel Like an Ending
Okay, hear me out. Season 6 felt... weird. Like a really long epilogue. A beautiful, tear-jerking epilogue, but still... off.
Rory's storyline? Complicated. Lucifer's growth? Questionable at times. It felt like they crammed too much into too little space.
Did it wrap everything up nicely? Debatable. I wasn't entirely convinced. Something felt… missing.
The Multiverse of Possibilities: Lucifer Could Return!
Hello? Have we met the multiverse? Doctor Who does it. Marvel does it. Heck, even my grandma knows about the multiverse now. (Probably.)
So, what's stopping Lucifer? A rogue angel messed with the timelines? An alternate dimension where Lucifer is a dentist? The possibilities are endless!
Plus, think of the spin-offs! Mazikeen: Bounty Hunter. Amenadiel: Godly Guidance Counselor. Even a baby Charlie sitcom! (Okay, maybe not that last one.)
The Power of Fan Demand: Never Say Never
Remember when Lucifer got canceled in the first place? Fans went ballistic! They rallied, they tweeted, they probably sent strongly worded letters to Fox. And it worked!
Netflix swooped in like a sexy, streaming savior. They revived the show. So, the power is in our hands, people. We did it before; we can do it again!
Imagine the headlines: "Lucifer Season 7: Fan Demand Forces Netflix's Hand!" I'd buy that newspaper. Twice.
What Could Season 7 Look Like? (My Wishful Thinking)
Okay, let's brainstorm. A new celestial threat? Lucifer facing a moral dilemma even bigger than Rory? Chloe Decker solving crimes in Heaven? Yes, please!
Maybe we see more of Trixie. She's always been the voice of reason. A grown-up Trixie running Lux? Now that’s an idea.
And let's not forget Ella Lopez. She needs to find true love! A quirky scientist who believes in aliens? It writes itself!
So, Is There a Chance? Let's Make One.
Realistically? Probably not. But a girl can dream, right? Lucifer resonated with so many people. The characters felt real. The story, despite its fantastical elements, was about love, redemption, and finding your place.
And who doesn't want more of that?
So, keep the faith, Luci-fans. Never stop believing. And maybe, just maybe, one day we'll see Tom Ellis back in that devilishly handsome suit. Because let's face it, we all miss Lucifer Morningstar.
After all, as Lucifer himself might say, "What do you truly desire?" A seventh season, perhaps?
