Let's talk about movies and TV shows. Specifically, the ones starting with "M". Because, let's be honest, some are gold. And some… well, let's just say they're not.
The Marvel-ous World of Ms
First up, Marvel. Do we even need to discuss this? Superheroes, explosions, witty banter. It's a whole universe of "M" titles!
My unpopular opinion: Some of those Phase 4 movies? A little too much multiverse, not enough…um… coherent plot. Just saying.
Then there's Mulan. The animated one, obviously. Sorry, live-action remake. You tried.
Magical Ms and Mysterious Ms
Okay, let's move on to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets...or, well, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Both great, both featuring titles starting with M. My pick? Prisoner of Azkaban
How about Mad Men? Stylish, sophisticated, and showcasing the world of advertising. Don Draper? Now that's a man with problems.
But let's be real: The Muppets deserve a mention. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo... pure, unadulterated joy. Who *doesn't* love The Muppets?
My unpopular opinion: I find the Swedish Chef a little overwhelming. All that "bork bork bork"? A bit much, even for me.
More "M" Mayhem: Musicals and Mayhem
Time for a musical mention: Mamma Mia! ABBA, Greek islands, questionable plot. What's not to love?
It's so bad, it's good. The sheer joy of Pierce Brosnan's singing...well, attempting to sing.
What about some thrillers? Memento. A mind-bending Nolan classic. You definitely need to pay attention.
Or the classic Hitchcock, Murder on the Orient Express. Whodunit at its finest. But Psycho is a better choice for Hitchcock movie.
Movies and TV starting with M
Let's give a quick mention to Modern Family. The show followed three families and became one of the most watched shows for the better part of the early 2010s.
My unpopular opinion: I like Modern Family, however the last two seasons were pretty bad. Maybe it was time to wrap the show up.
And what about some of the ones that maybe didn't quite hit the mark? I'm not naming names (okay, maybe I am), but some "M" movies are...forgettable.
Okay, one name: Meet Joe Black. Brad Pitt as Death? Intriguing concept, but three hours long? I need a nap just thinking about it.
"Frankly, my dear, I'd rather watch something else starting with 'M'." - Rhett Butler (probably)
I did love the Matrix franchise. The first movie was great, then the sequels and recent Matrix movie weren't nearly as good.
So, there you have it. A whirlwind tour of movies and TV shows beginning with the letter "M." Agree? Disagree? Let me know!
