Cozy Glow: A Controversial Opinion

Sure, she was evil. Totally power-hungry. Wanted to destroy friendship itself. But was she wrong to see the flaws of the other villians? She made many right calls but her desire to dominate and win at all costs eventually backfires.

I get that she's supposed to be the embodiment of pure evil. But... maybe she was just a misunderstood filly with some serious trust issues. Is it just me?

Stone Cold

Turning Cozy Glow into stone? Harsh, Equestria, harsh! I feel like there were other options. Maybe some serious therapy? A "Villains Anonymous" meeting?

Seriously, the show is all about friendship and forgiveness! It feels a little hypocritical to just petrify a kid. Someone get her a good lawyer! Though the show did explain that Cozy Glow was deemed too dangerous to be reformed so she was permentanly turned into stone. The choice was made that she was too far gone.

The Time Skip

Okay, fast forward a few years. The Mane Six are older! They have different hairstyles! And... they're all splitting up? Why?

I understand the whole "spreading their wings" metaphor. But it still felt a little sad! After nine seasons of friendship, they're all going their separate ways? My heart!

Twilight Sparkle looks fabulous as a princess, but I miss the awkward, book-loving unicorn. Did anyone else feel this way?
