And while I appreciate the message of friendship always prevailing, it felt a little... pat. Like the ending was too neatly wrapped.
A little more struggle would have made it feel more earned. Some actual consequences would have added depth.

Here's the crux of my argument. The finale wasn't *bad*. It was just…safe. Too safe, perhaps.
It gave us everything we expected. Happy endings, tearful reunions, and the power of friendship prevailing. But it didn't surprise us.
