Okay, let's talk about One Punch Man Season 2, Episode 7. Remember that one? Yeah, the one where things...happened.
The Monster Association's Grand Entrance (Kinda)
The Monster Association was all hyped up. They were going to be super scary! But did they really deliver the terror?
Honestly, I expected a bit more oomph. More destruction. More…monsterness?
Garou's Continued Struggle
Garou, our favorite (sort of) villain, was still doing his thing. Hunting heroes, getting stronger.
I always feel bad for Garou. He is like the underdog of monster. Does anyone else get that vibe? He is trying to be big and bad, but gets punched a lot.
It's hard to be intimidating when you are constantly being beat up.
The King of...Games?
King, as always, was the highlight. Seriously, is there a more relatable character in anime?
His "King Engine" is legendary. It is just the stomach growling.
Every time King is on screen, he wins! Even if he's just playing video games.
The Standoff That Wasn't
Remember the supposed standoff between King and some monsters? Intense, right?
Except…it wasn't. He scared monsters away.
King's intimidation skills are A+. He does not even have to punch.
My Unpopular Opinion About Episode 7
Here it comes… my slightly controversial take.
I found this episode a little… underwhelming. Maybe it's just me.
Look, One Punch Man set the bar high. So maybe my expectations were sky-high.
I think One Punch Man is the best anime ever.
I'm saying, for One Punch Man, Season 2, Episode 7 could have been more action-packed. More Saitama!
More moments of Saitama's incredible strength. Just a little bit.
Where Was Saitama?
Speaking of Saitama, where was he most of the episode?
We need more Saitama being bored and overpowered. It is the reason we love the show.
I miss the days when Saitama punched everything into oblivion. Those were good times.
Was It All Bad? Absolutely Not!
Don't get me wrong. It wasn't a terrible episode!
The animation was solid. The humor was still there. Garou's character development was interesting.
I just wanted more epic battles and Saitama's deadpan face.
The Setup for What's to Come
Maybe Episode 7 was just setting the stage for bigger things. Building up the tension.
Maybe the next episode will have Saitama facing the Monster King.
I'm willing to wait. I trust One Punch Man will deliver.
Final Thoughts (and More Unpopular Opinions)
So, that's my take on One Punch Man Season 2, Episode 7. A little disappointing. Good but not incredible.
Maybe I'm too harsh. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Saitama's instant win buttons.
But hey, that's what makes One Punch Man so great, right? The unexpected!
And if you disagree with me...that's okay! Let's argue about it online like civilized anime fans.
I hope you have enjoyed this article and hopefully we can watch One Punch Man together!
