Honestly, Garou's commitment to his villain 'brand' is honestly admirable. Even if it seems like he's failing at every opportunity!

Was it the best episode ever? No way. But it had its moments. And let's be real, we were all just waiting for Saitama to show up and punch something.

King Being... King

We also get to see King in action. By action, I mean sitting and sweating profusely.

I always admire him, though. King, who is an absolute coward, who manages to convince everyone that he is the world's strongest man.

His luck is unbelievable. Seriously, I wish I had that level of accidental heroism in my life. I'd be accidentally winning the lottery every week.

The Animation Debate (Again)

Of course, the animation quality always comes up when discussing Season 2. It’s... a topic. A much discussed topic.

Look, it wasn't Season 1 level. We all know that. But let's appreciate the effort, shall we?

I'm pretty sure drawing that many monsters is super hard. I can barely draw a stick figure that doesn't look like it's having an existential crisis.

Overall Thoughts

So, was One Punch Man Season 2 Episode 7 a masterpiece? Nope. Was it a complete disaster? Also, nope.

It was just… an episode. One that moved the plot along. One that had some funny moments.

And one that reminded us that even superpowered beings have really awkward meetings. "Could we not eat the intern during the powerpoint presentation?" seems like a valid concern.

I'd still watch it again. Maybe with snacks this time. Because everything is better with snacks.
