It's like he has a cheat code. A new enemy shows up, he eats them, and BAM! New skill unlocked. Talk about an easy power-up system.
I'm over here struggling to learn a new language. Meanwhile, Rimuru is mastering magic with his stomach. Life just isn't fair.

Granted, he does have his moments. But usually, he just sighs and absorbs the threat. It's hard to stay mad at a slime, I guess.

His reactions to the absurdity of his situation are hilarious. And he genuinely cares about his people. Even if he gets carried away sometimes.
The World is Great
Honestly, the world-building is top-notch. The different monster races, the politics, the magic system. It's all so well thought out.
That's why I keep watching. I'm invested in Tempest's success. Even if I think Rimuru gets a little too much plot armor.
And the side characters are fantastic. Gobta, Shion, Benimaru. They all add so much to the story. They are the real MVP. Don't @ me.
Final Thoughts?
So, do I secretly hate Rimuru Tempest? Absolutely not! He's entertaining, powerful, and surprisingly relatable. Even as a slime.
But maybe, just maybe, he's not *quite* the flawless hero everyone makes him out to be. And that's okay. Nobody's perfect, not even a reincarnated slime.
