Snatch Game of Love: All Stars 5 Went... Somewhere
Okay, let's talk about All Stars 5, Episode 5. Snatch Game of Love. Whew, that was... a choice.
Remember when Snatch Game was, like, *the* challenge? Now it feels like a cursed ritual. It just brings bad luck!
The Ladies: Some Snatched, Some... Not So Much
Some queens absolutely killed it. Like, Shea Couleé as Flavor Flav? Genius. She understood the assignment.
And Jujubee as Eartha Kitt was classic Jujubee. Dry wit, perfectly delivered. Never fails!
But then... well, let's just say not everyone understood "love." Or comedy. Or, you know, portraying a celebrity.
Alexis Mateo's Walter Mercado was… interesting. But a little all over the place, right?
And Blair St. Clair. Oh, Blair. I love you, but that Ellen DeGeneres impression? Not it, honey.
The Runway: Category Is... Prom!
The runway category was prom. Sparkles, tulle, awkward memories. You know, the works!
Some of the queens looked stunning. Shea once again nailed it, giving us futuristic prom queen vibes.
Others? Well, let's just say my high school prom looked better. No shade, just truth!
My Unpopular Opinion: Cranky Time
Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. I wasn't *completely* blown away by this episode. Sorry!
Don't get me wrong, I love All Stars. But this felt... underwhelming. Like, where's the drama? The camp? The *excellence*?
Maybe I'm just being a grumpy old drag race fan. But the judging seemed a bit off, too. What was up with that?
And the lip sync? I’ve seen better. Way better! This season felt a little weak in the lip-sync department so far.
The Lip Sync Assassin: Someone Needs to Step It Up!
Speaking of lip syncs, I feel like the lip sync assassins were all a little underperforming this season, don't you think?
Like, bring back Alyssa Edwards or Shangela! We need some serious theatrics, drama, and death drops!
I know it's All Stars, and the queens are talented. But I just expected more. Maybe I set my expectations too high.
The Verdict: Good, But Not Great
Overall, All Stars 5, Episode 5 was… fine. It wasn't terrible. It wasn't amazing. It was just… *there*.
I still love these queens. I'm still rooting for them. But I need them to step it up! Give us something to talk about!
This episode had the Snatch Game blues. Here's hoping the rest of the season brings more fun and drama.
