Okay, squirrels! Let's talk about Season 12, Episode 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race. Remember that one? It was a rollercoaster of glitter, giggles, and, of course, gag-worthy moments!
The Main Challenge: Choices 2020
This week the queens tackled a political debate challenge, Choices 2020. Think less serious policy discussions, more hilarious campaign ads with a drag twist. It was time to see who could really werk the political stage... and who would stumble!
Some of the queens absolutely nailed it, giving us iconic one-liners and unforgettable characters. Others, well, let's just say their political platforms needed a little more... *oomph*!
Who Shined (and Who Shaded)?
Gigi Goode was serving looks and comedic timing for days. She was a force to be reckoned with, and her performance was polished to perfection. She was giving us futuristic glamour and razor-sharp wit!
Then there was Jaida Essence Hall, whose natural charisma oozed from the screen. She was captivating, engaging, and left you wanting more. Talk about a star!
Poor Brita, on the other hand, struggled to find her footing. It wasn't her best moment, and you could feel the tension radiating from her.
And Jackie Cox, while always a delight, maybe didn’t quite hit the high notes this time around. Hey, everyone has an off day, right?
Category Is: Tulle-Realness!
The runway theme was Tulle-Realness, and the queens definitely delivered some serious tulle drama. We're talking mountains of fabric, vibrant colors, and enough ruffles to make a flamenco dancer jealous!
Gigi Goode stunned in a whimsical, almost ethereal creation. She just knows how to work the runway and make a statement!
Jaida Essence Hall showcased her incredible sewing skills with a stunning gown. This queen is giving us glamour, talent, and everything in between. She proved that she is a force of nature!
Meanwhile, some other queens stumbled, proving that tulle can be a tricky fabric to master. Let’s just say some looks were more “tulle-ible” than “tulle-tally fabulous.”
The Lip Sync For Your Life
This week, Brita and Jackie Cox found themselves in the bottom two. They had to lip sync for their lives to "Firework" by Katy Perry.
Both queens gave it their all, pouring their hearts and souls into the performance. You could feel the desperation and determination in every move.
Ultimately, Brita was asked to sashay away. It was a tough loss, but she left with her head held high. Another queen gone too soon!
