Remember that school festival arc? It felt like it lasted longer than my actual school days. Every character and their dog was there! Making takoyaki or something.
I swear, I started to think the story was sponsored by a calendar company. Each day, new "drama"! New misunderstandings! New ingredients for the takoyaki!

It felt like the director and writer wanted to make me feel the characters' pain! Like I was supposed to be in their shoes.
But Here's the Thing... We Still Watch It
Despite my (minor) gripes, I still binged watched it. Why? Because *Hanabira* is adorable! End of story.
The main couples are just so darn cute together. And the art style is gorgeous. How can you not fall in love?
So, while some chapters might be a little slower than others, the overall experience is worth it. Even if I occasionally fast-forward through the school festival scenes.
