Tales Of Zestiria The X Season 2

Okay, let's talk about something controversial. Something that still keeps me up at night. Did *Tales of Zestiria the X* Season 2 nail it? Maybe not for everyone.

The Hype Train: Was it Overhyped?

Remember the hype? Everyone was SO ready. We had Sorey, Mikleo, and the whole gang back on screen. Explosions, cool fights, what's not to love?

Well, a few things, actually. And this is where I might lose some of you. Prepare yourselves, Zestiria faithful!

Rose: Savior or... Sidekick?

Rose is awesome. I get it. Really, I do. But did she kinda steal Alisha's spotlight? Just a little bit.

I know, I know, it's not a popularity contest. But Alisha deserved better. Her farewell was heartbreaking! Then Rose shows up and BAM! New main girl.

Don't get me wrong, Rose is powerful. Her backstory is compelling. But Alisha's struggle felt more relatable, more… real.

The Pacing: Zooming or Snoozing?

The story felt a little rushed, didn't it? Like they were trying to cram everything in. Fast-paced action is cool, but give us time to breathe!

Sometimes I felt like I missed a chapter. Or five. Did Sorey even have time to enjoy the scenery?

And the final battle? Epic, sure. But also, a little…convenient? Like they just needed to wrap things up. A little rushed.

The Animation: Still Stunning!

Okay, let's be fair. The animation was gorgeous. Ufotable really knocked it out of the park with the visuals. Every spell, every fight, looked incredible.

Seriously, the fight against Heldalf? Breathtaking. Even if the story felt a little…wonky, the visuals were consistently top-notch.

It's hard to stay mad when it looks this good. Almost like they were distracting us with shiny things. And it worked, kinda.

The Music: A Masterpiece!

The soundtrack is amazing! It’s one of my favorite from the whole series. The music made even the slower parts feel epic.

Go Shiina and Motoi Sakuraba. Their work really elevated the emotional impact of the story. They gave it that extra something special.

Seriously, I still listen to the OST while I'm working. It’s a mood booster!

The Verdict: Good, Not Great?

Look, *Tales of Zestiria the X* Season 2 wasn't bad. Not at all. It just... wasn't perfect. And maybe that's okay.

It's still a fun ride. The characters are still lovable. The animation is stunning. Just wish the story felt a bit more…complete.

But hey, that's just my opinion. Maybe I'm just being picky. Let me know what you think! Maybe Sorey and Mikleo will finally find the right path someday!
