That Time I Reincarnated As A Slime Season 3
Okay, let's talk Rimuru Tempest. That blob of joy. We all went wild for Season 1, right? Then Season 2 hit, and things got… complicated.
Now, Season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. I have THOUGHTS. Maybe even *gasp* unpopular ones.
Did Season 3...Peak?
Look, I love Rimuru. I really do. But did anyone else feel like Season 3 felt a little… slower?
Like, we’re dealing with serious kingdom-building stuff. Diplomacy. Politics. Less slime antics, more strategic meetings.
Don't get me wrong, I respect the growth! Rimuru is becoming a legit leader. But sometimes I miss the simpler days of gobta running into trees.
The Pacing Problem
Maybe it's just me. But I felt the pacing was…off. Lots of talking, not enough slime-powered action.
Remember when Rimuru was just figuring out how to eat and copy skills? Good times. Now it's all "establishing trade routes" and "forming alliances."
I know, I know, progress is important. But I miss the "wow" moments, the unexpected skill reveals.
The Antagonist Issue
The villains were...fine. Serviceable, even. But did any of them really stick with you?
They weren't Hinata Sakaguchi levels of compelling. That fight! That struggle! Hinata felt genuinely threatening, someone that brought Rimuru to his limits.
This time around, the threats felt a little...distant. Like a problem Rimuru could solve with a slightly stern look and a new skill.
Is It Just Me?
I'm probably being too harsh. I *did* enjoy watching Rimuru evolve. And the animation? Still gorgeous.
But something felt...missing. That spark of utter chaos and unpredictable fun.
Maybe I just wanted more slime puns. Is that too much to ask?
Don't Get Me Wrong!
Look, I still love the series. I'm invested in the characters. I want to see Tempest thrive.
Shion's cooking continues to be a source of amusement. Benimaru is still ridiculously cool. And Milim continues to be...Milim.
Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the early seasons.
The Verdict?
Season 3 was good. Solid, even. But was it *amazing*? Was it the kind of season that has us buzzing for months?
For me, not quite. It felt like a stepping stone, a bridge to something bigger. Something...more.
I’m still hyped for what’s next. Just hoping for a little more slime-fueled mayhem in the future.
So, am I alone in this? Anyone else feel a similar way about Season 3? Let me know! We can overanalyze slime lore together!
