Okay, fellow *The Good Fight* fans, let's talk. I have some thoughts about season 5, episode 4. And brace yourselves, because some of them might be... unpopular.
Specifically, was anyone else a little... underwhelmed? Don't get me wrong, I love this show. But this episode felt a bit like reheated leftovers.

We got the usual doses of Liz Reddick being awesome. She's always juggling fire and looking fabulous doing it. That's classic *The Good Fight* goodness.
And Marissa Gold? Still the queen of figuring things out. Her political instincts are sharper than ever. You almost feel bad for anyone who underestimates her.
But even the strong performances couldn't quite save it. The plot just felt... stretched.

The memo about *Judge Wackner's* court? It was interesting, sure. But did it really grab you? I felt like I was watching a slow burn that never quite ignited.
I expected more chaos, more absurdity. This season promised us wacky. This episode felt like it played it too safe.

My Unpopular Opinion: We Need More Diane!
And speaking of missing ingredients, where's the fire in Diane Lockhart? I miss her witty observations. I miss her existential dread!
Her journey into micro-dosing was fascinating, but that storyline seems to have fizzled out a bit. Come on, writers, give Christine Baranski something meaty to chew on!
I want to see her confront the madness of the world head-on. I want her to question everything, to rant, to rave! Basically, I want vintage Diane back.
So, Am I Wrong?
Look, I know *The Good Fight* is still a great show. Even a slightly weaker episode is still better than most things on television.
But I can't help but feel a little disappointed. This episode just didn't live up to the high bar the show has set for itself.
Maybe I'm being too critical. Maybe I'm just craving more of the outrageous. But I can't shake the feeling that this episode was just... okay.
