His storyline about therapy and his heritage? Gold! It was finally getting somewhere. Plus, it was paving the way for so much more to come.
Maybe I'm alone in this. But I found his journey of self-discovery especially gripping. It’s raw and honest. We all need a little of that.
Kate's Curveball
And let's not forget Kate. Adoption? Surprise! Who saw that coming? I mean, besides the writers, obviously.
Her desire to expand her family felt very real. It felt very raw. And of course, her decision to open her heart up again was admirable.
It added another layer to her already complex character. The storyline also reminded us that family comes in all forms.
Missing Pieces
I get it. Some parts felt a little… slow. Like, did we really need another scene of Jack being perfect? But hey, that is Jack.
But even the "slower" moments were important. They built the foundation for the bigger emotional payoffs. I respect that.
