Okay, let's talk about We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd Episode 5. I know, I know, we're all supposed to be swooning. But hear me out!

Did anyone else think the dramatic rain scene was...a little much? I mean, Taiwan weather is already dramatic enough, right?

Maybe it's just me. I'm bracing myself for the backlash.

Let's be honest, we all lived for the yearning gazes between Shu Yi and Shi De. The tension? Palpable. The slow burn? Delicious.

But Episode 5 felt…forced? Like the writers were hitting us over the head with the angst bat.

I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it. I just think it could have been, well, less extra.

Is anyone else more invested in the side characters? Seriously, the supporting cast is carrying this show on their backs.

That's my opinion. Fight me.

I mean, don't actually fight me. Just politely disagree in the comments. Preferably with GIFS.

Zhou Shu Yi's friends are pure gold. Every scene with them is comedy perfection.

They provide a much-needed dose of levity. Especially when things get heavy (rain pun intended).

Plus, their loyalty is admirable. They stick by Shu Yi through thick and thin, even when he's being completely clueless.

Okay, this might be even more controversial. But is Gao Shi De a little manipulative?

I know, I know, he's deeply in love. He's been pining for years!

But some of his moves feel a little...scheming? It is a little uncomfortable.

Like, the whole "accidentally" ending up at the same places as Shu Yi thing? Stalker vibes, just a tiny bit.

Don't get me wrong, Shi De is undeniably attractive. But maybe tone down the masterplan, buddy.

Just be yourself, Shi De! (Or at least, a slightly less calculating version of yourself.)

And the whole waiting-seven-years thing? Romantic or slightly unhinged? The jury's still out.

I'm torn. I want them to be together, obviously. But maybe a little less drama, please.

Okay, okay, the kiss was good. Fine. I admit it. Very well executed.

But was it worth all the emotional turmoil leading up to it? Debatable.

Seriously, my heart rate couldn't take another near-miss romantic moment. I was starting to get palpitations.

Maybe I'm just an impatient viewer. I want my boys to be happy and in love already!

Is that too much to ask? I think not.

So, overall, We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd Episode 5 gets a solid B from me. Good, but could be better.

Less angst, more sunshine, please! And more screen time for the amazing supporting cast.
