I actually think Chloe's return could have been… better. Don’t get me wrong, I was thrilled to see her. But the storyline felt a little forced.
Like, the producers were trying too hard to recreate the “good old days.” Did anyone else feel that way?
It felt like they were trying to capitalize on nostalgia instead of letting Chloe just… be Chloe. Just saying!
The Dance Battle!
Of course, Chloe's return wouldn't be complete without some DANCE DRAMA. She's competing with her old team, because that's what happens in the Dance Mom's universe.
The pressure is on! Does she still have what it takes? Can she beat the ALDC?
Spoiler alert (sort of): Regardless of the outcome, it's great to see her back on stage. Her dancing is so beautiful.
Where's the True Emotion?
While Chloe's return was a welcome sight, I couldn’t help but feel like some of the emotions were amplified for the cameras.
Do you remember that episode when Paige forget her dance? That was heart wrenching.
Maybe that's just the nature of reality TV. But a girl can dream of authenticity, right?
