What Is The Order Of Jojo Series

What Is The Order Of Jojo Series

Okay, so you've heard whispers, maybe shouts, about this JoJo's Bizarre Adventure thing. It’s everywhere! But figuring out where to even start feels like trying to untangle a headphone cord after it's spent a week in your pocket. Fear not, friend! I'm here to guide you through the fabulous, the flamboyant, and the frankly bizarre world of JoJo, in the right order.

The JoJo Family Tree (Sort Of)

JoJo isn't just one story. Think of it more like generations of a really, really dramatic family. Each part focuses on a different descendant of the Joestar bloodline. Each of them have their own unique powers and adventures.

Part 1: Phantom Blood

This is where it all begins. We meet Jonathan Joestar, the OG JoJo, a true gentleman. He faces off against his adopted brother, Dio Brando, who's basically pure evil with a capital E. It's Victorian-era vampires and Hamon (sunlight energy) galore! This part is shorter than your average binge-watching session, so it's a great starting point.

Part 2: Battle Tendency

Next up is Joseph Joestar, Jonathan's grandson. Joseph is the wisecracking, rule-bending, ultimate strategist of the family. He's the kind of guy who'd probably cheat at Monopoly and then wink at you about it.

This part introduces the Pillar Men, ancient beings of immense power. Think super buff Aztec gods who love posing, and you're halfway there!

Part 3: Stardust Crusaders

Buckle up, because this is where things get really wild. We've got Jotaro Kujo, Joseph's grandson (and a man of very few words). He's the strong, silent type... until he unleashes his Stand, Star Platinum! Stands are like superpowers manifested as fighting spirits and became a central element for the rest of the series.

The gang travels from Japan to Egypt to finally put an end to the revived Dio. Expect epic battles, bizarre encounters, and enough "ORA ORA ORA" to shatter your eardrums (in a good way, of course!).

Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable

Time to head to the small town of Morioh, Japan! Josuke Higashikata, another of Joseph's... ahem... progeny, is the star here. He's a high school student with a killer pompadour and a Stand called Crazy Diamond, which can fix anything.

But Morioh isn't as peaceful as it seems. A mysterious Stand-using serial killer is on the loose, and Josuke and his friends must uncover his identity. Prepare for a quirky, suspenseful, and surprisingly heartwarming adventure.

Part 5: Golden Wind

We're off to Italy! This time, we follow Giorno Giovanna, Dio's son (yes, that Dio, it's complicated). Giorno dreams of becoming a Gang-Star (a gangster who's also a star, naturally). He teams up with a group of Stand users in the Passione mafia to take down the boss.

This part is stylish, action-packed, and features some of the most creative Stand abilities in the series.

Part 6: Stone Ocean

Jolyne Cujoh, Jotaro's daughter, is framed for a crime she didn't commit and sent to a maximum-security prison. There she discovers her Stand, Stone Free. Now, she has to fight to protect herself and uncover a sinister plot involving Dio's loyal followers.

Get ready for intense prison battles, mind-bending Stand abilities, and a whole lot of Jolyne being a total badass.

Part 7: Steel Ball Run

This part is a soft reboot, set in an alternate universe. It follows Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who lost the use of his legs, as he participates in the Steel Ball Run, a cross-country horse race across America. He teams up with Gyro Zeppeli, a skilled Zeppeli with unique abilities, who helps Johnny discover his own Stand and fight against formidable opponents.

This part blends elements of Westerns, historical fiction, and classic JoJo bizarre-ness.

Part 8: JoJolion

Also set in the alternate universe of Steel Ball Run, JoJolion takes place in Morioh after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. We meet Josuke Higashikata (again, but different!), an amnesiac young man discovered near the Wall Eyes. This Josuke has a unique Stand and is shrouded in mystery. This part is a slow-burn mystery with a focus on family secrets and the nature of identity.

Part 9: The JoJoLands

The newest part of the series. Currently ongoing. Jodio Joestar, who lives on the island of Oahu. This part promises a thrilling adventure with new Stands and bizarre encounters. So, catch up on the previous parts so you're ready to jump in!

So, there you have it! The JoJo saga in all its glory! Now go forth, embrace the bizarre, and prepare for a truly unforgettable adventure!
