Evan Peters: An *American Horror Story* Fixture, Right?
Let's be real. When you think of *American Horror Story* (or AHS, as the cool kids say), you probably think of Evan Peters. He's practically synonymous with the show! But how many seasons *actually* feature his glorious, often tormented, self?
The Obvious Ones (Because Duh!)
Okay, let's knock out the easy stuff. He's in *Murder House*. That's where it all started, right? Who can forget Tate Langdon and his, uh, complicated relationship with Violet? Definitely a season defining role.
*Asylum*? Yep! He suffers SO MUCH in that one. Poor Kit Walker, abducted and accused!.
He's a frat boy in *Coven*. A zombie in *Hotel*. Even a cult leader in *Cult*. Basically, he's all over the place.
Keep 'Em Coming
And then there is *Roanoke*. Did you forget that one existed? His appearance there was more like a cameo.
We can't forget *Apocalypse*. It brought back a lot of familiar faces. Evan played a significant role. Again.
*1984* is the season, where he played a fitness instructor. It was fun, if a little over-the-top, campy.
Hold Up... Not EVERY Season?
Now, here's where things get interesting. And maybe a little controversial. Prepare yourselves.
He's *not* in *NYC*. It was the first season without him. I know. Shocker!
He is also absent from *Double Feature*. No Evan Peters in that one either! Are we sure this is AHS?
My (Possibly Unpopular) Opinion
Okay, unpopular opinion time. While I adore Evan Peters, AHS can survive without him. GASP! I said it!
Some seasons are still great, even without his signature brand of angst and intensity. He is missed though! It is hard to imagine *AHS* without him.
I am not saying that I don't want him to be back. I just think that some seasons have shown they can survive without him.
The Verdict: Evan's *AHS* Scorecard
So, to recap: Evan Peters has been in most, but not all, seasons of *American Horror Story*. He's a major player, but the show isn't *entirely* dependent on him.
He has gifted us with iconic characters. He has added so much to the show. It is hard to imagine a world where there is no Evan Peters in *AHS*.
So, next time you're watching AHS, pay attention. Is Evan in this one? If not, maybe it's time for a re-watch of *Murder House*...for research purposes, of course!
