Okay, picture this: you're living with a bunch of vampires. Not the sparkly, brooding kind, but the kind who still haven't figured out how to use the internet and think a "rave" is a meeting of crows. That's basically the vibe of What We Do in the Shadows Season 4.
A Baby Colin Robinson? What?!
Remember Colin Robinson, the energy vampire who drained your soul by talking about municipal bylaws? Well, he's GONE! (sort of). This season, he's reborn as a creepy baby. Imagine changing a diaper for a kid who already knows how to file taxes... nightmare fuel, right?
Seeing a baby with an adult head learning to play the piano, then morphing into a teenager who's obsessed with musical theater? Pure comedic gold. Seriously, you'll be quoting this for weeks.
Nandor's Quest for Love (and a Few Dozen Husbands)
Our favorite warrior, Nandor the Relentless, is still searching for his one true love. He goes through a LOT of potential spouses. Like, dozens. Turns out finding someone compatible after centuries of being a bloodsucking immortal is harder than it looks!
He even tries using a genie to get what he wants. Let's just say the genie's interpretations of Nandor's wishes are...less than ideal. Expect awkward dates, questionable decisions, and lots of accidental resurrections.
Nadja's Vampire Nightclub: A Total Hot Mess (But in a Good Way)
Nadja finally gets her dream: a vampire nightclub! Think Studio 54, but with more bats, less disco, and way more screaming. Running a business is hard, especially when your staff are all supernatural weirdos who don't understand health codes.
It's a constant battle to keep the club from falling apart (literally). Between the shady dealings, the demanding clientele, and the constant threat of being exposed, Nadja's nightclub is a recipe for hilarious disaster.
Laszlo's Just Trying to Be a Dad (Sort Of)
Meanwhile, Laszlo is convinced he's the best dad ever to baby Colin Robinson. He's teaching him about jazz, trying to shield him from the "evils" of the world (like TikTok), and generally failing spectacularly at being a normal parent. He isn't your typical father figure.
Imagine a vampire trying to give a baby "the talk" about where energy comes from... yeah, it's that awkward. But also surprisingly heartwarming in its own weird way.
Guillermo's Still Just a Guy (Who's Secretly Super Powerful)
Poor Guillermo. He's still putting up with all the vampires' nonsense. However, this season hints at something...more. Let's just say he's getting REALLY good at protecting his housemates from danger. His powers are slowly revealed.
Is he finally going to become a vampire himself? Or is he destined to be the world's most dedicated (and underappreciated) familiar forever? We are waiting for the next season.
Why You Should Watch It (Duh!)
Season 4 of What We Do in the Shadows is like a warm, comforting hug... that occasionally bites you on the neck. It's funny, it's silly, and it's the perfect escape from reality. You should watch it!
It's the kind of show that makes you laugh so hard your stomach hurts. And who doesn't need a little more laughter in their life? Go watch it now. You'll thank me later, I promise.
